HeadCount welcomes folks of all ages to volunteer! Sometimes events and venues have age restrictions that may limit access for minors - and in those cases we always follow their guidelines. This is how we break it down for minor volunteers:
16 - 17 years old: You may volunteer at events without a parent or legal guardian. Sign up for the event through our website. Make sure your parent or legal guardian completes the Minor Waiver in advance of the event.
14 - 15 years old: You may volunteer at events where you have signed up through our website and your parent or legal guardian is also volunteering. Make sure they complete a Minor Waiver and let your Team Leader know that you need to be confirmed as a team!
Under 14: We are so inspired that you are here! However, you must wait until you are 14 to create a volunteer profile on our website. If you want to join your parent or guardian to volunteer when we have an open call for volunteers at a community event, you are welcome to do so - just make sure they complete a Minor Waiver and let the Team Leader know in advance.
