Steve Worsfold grew up in Michigan and attended Michigan State University for his undergraduate degree, and Eastern Michigan University for his master’s degree. He moved out to the Bay Area in 2012, so he wouldn’t have to face another Michigan winter. Steve works for the City of San Francisco, and spent two years with the Department of Elections, registering voters and educating the public about upcoming elections. After moving to a new department, he missed interacting with voters, and decided to volunteer with HeadCount. Steve loves the nonpartisan philosophy and HeadCount, and believes a civically engaged electorate is the key to progress in this country.
When Steve isn’t working for the city or registering voters with HeadCount, he enjoys hiking and camping in beautiful northern California, eating and drinking his way through the endless restaurants and breweries in San Francisco, watching the Golden State Warriors win championships, and of course, seeing live music. Steve has been seeing Phish since the 90’s and is always on the lookout for a new band to follow around.
