Steve Katz

Steve is a retired executive recruiter who has lived in Denver since 1992. His new part-time job is babysitting for his two year old grandson two days a week (with another on the way). He has been regularly attending live music since his first Grateful Dead show in 1973 and still sees live music at least twice a week. There are five bands that he's seen over a hundred times. His musical tastes lately have leaned more towards bluegrass. Steve got involved in HeadCount in 2015 and really enjoys it.  He is a people person and never imagined a better thing to do than to help people register to vote, which is so important, and see live music at the same time. His other volunteer work includes working with the Wharf Rats, Jellyfish and The Gateway, as well as helping the homeless through an organization called Family Promise.
