Rebecca grew up in southwest Virginia and has lived all over the country. She worked her way through community college and eventually graduated from James Madison University. Rebecca actively supports a number of causes and is most passionate about healthcare issues. Most recently, Rebecca served as an Americorps volunteer, in various capacities with Virginia State Parks, and as leadership committee co chair with March Of Dimes Share Your Story.
Rebecca became a HeadCount volunteer upon moving to the DC area in 2010. She found HeadCount to be a fantastic way to mix her interest in politics with her love for live music. Rebecca became a Team Leader upon her recent move to Charlottesville. When not dancing to her favorite bands or chasing around her little one, she can be found on a road trip, exploring the outdoors, or lost in a book.
