Mekleet Teferi lives in NYC. She is originally from Maryland and Washington, DC. Upon looking for volunteer opportunities post-grad, she stumbled upon HeadCount in 2022 and has never looked back. Her favorite band is The Strokes. When not volunteering, she is taking Pilates classes and reading (for work and leisure).
