Marina Coronado is a Junior at the University Of Houston majoring in Political Science with a minor in Journalism. Marina has participated in multiple activities on campus such as Mock Trial as a secretary, witness, and attorney. In addition to her extracurricular activities, Marina has previous experience in grant research from different private, public and philanthropic organizations. Outside of school, Marina deeply enjoys dancing, walking her dog, reading, and spending time with her family. She also loves attending concerts and making hyper-specific playlists about the books she reads. Some of Marina's favorite artists are Harry Styles, One Direction, Arctic Monkeys, Fleetwood Mac, Bad Bunny, and Maneskin. Marina is passionate about the fascinating links between politics, music, philosophy, law, and dance. She is also eager to learn about the ways in which music can be a driving force behind politics and how it ultimately unites us. Marina is excited to work with HeadCount and further the mission of voter engagement by sharing her knowledge and learning from others.
