Laurie first joined the HeadCount family in April 2010. A firm believer in the power of music to create social change, her passion for progress has only grown during her HeadCount tenure. Laurie has been HeadCount's Managing Director since November 2014. In that role she has raised over $5 million for a variety of non-profit organizations and has overseen the registration of close to 200,000 American voters. Under Laurie's leadership HeadCount has grown into the premiere music-oriented civic action group in the United States.
Previous position's Laurie has held with HeadCount include Outreach Director, Outreach Coordinator and Team Leader (Austin, TX).
A native Iowan, she graduated from the University of Iowa in May 2009 with a BA in Marketing. Laurie now lives in Brooklyn and is a total boss.
