With a deep-rooted love for music, community, and political activism, Lauren found her perfect fit in Athens when adopted into the HeadCount family. She studied Mass Communications and Spanish at the University of Georgia
Lauren is actively involved in Athens's vivacious music scene. DJing at the local radio station, organizing and booking benefit shows for various non-profits, and teaching guitar classes at the local Latino center, she continues to dip her toes in any opportunity she can to surround herself with new folks that share her passions.
