Lauren Campbell is a Charleston, WV native currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science and Media Arts & Studies at the University of Kentucky. She places a high value on her personal civic duty and knows how important it is to encourage others to be informed and vote. As a lifetime regular concert attendee, she first became aware of HeadCount in high school, as a concert photographer and reviewer. Later, after getting involved, HeadCount provided a way for Lauren to combine her need for civic involvement with her love for live music.
Outside of school and HeadCount, Lauren can be found practicing guitar, writing, swimming, drawing, at the movies, or adventuring with her Golden Retriever, Rowdy. She has a diverse music taste and is a fan of all genres. Some of her favorite artists include John Mayer, Maggie Rogers, Tom Petty, Shawn Mendes, Kasey Musgraves, Bruce Springsteen, Alec Benjamin, ABBA, Taylor Swift, and Leon Bridges.
