Kiára Benejan-Curry is from New York City hailing from The Bronx aka the birthplace of Hip-Hop. Currently studying Sociology and Marketing at Virginia State University, she also develops her creative passions in the arts. Her love for music has been embodied since birth with a love for dance and directing. She enjoys all types of music especially Hip-Hop and R&B music. Her involvement with HeadCount began through a pursuit of internships that would further engage her to combine her love of the arts and political engagement. With a desire to create her own agency in the future, she hopes to inspire future generations to use their passions in the arts to shift culture and political climate.
