Erica Rogers

Having registered to vote for the first time when she was 18 years old at Warped Tour in 2004, Erica has long felt that civic participation shouldn’t take a law degree, and that empowering people to participate in government can be a ton of fun. She especially loved that she could register to vote between rounds of crowd surfing.

Erica joined HeadCount as a Team Leader in 2018 after volunteering at the Denver March for Our Lives. By day, she’s an attorney/policy nerd who works as a Legislative Analyst for the City and County of Denver. She has worked on policy research and development at the National Conference of State Legislatures, the Colorado General Assembly, the West Virginia Legislature, and the United States Senate.

Erica holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Colorado Law School, as well as a Master of Public Administration degree and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from West Virginia University. She lives in Denver, but she’s a fierce expat advocate for Appalachia and West Virginia.
