Emily Rodriguez was born and raised in Yonkers, New York. Her obsession with music started at a young age when her older sisters exposed her to some great artists like Weezer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Kanye West, and so many more. As she got older she realized she needed to make music her career so she studied Music Management at the University of Delaware. Upon graduation she worked in several music studios, venues, and licensing companies until she landed her current role at ASCAP. She first volunteered for HeadCount in 2019 at the Billie Eilish concert and from then on she's been adamant about getting more involved. With her passion for social justice and music combined, she's excited to embark on this journey with HeadCount.
