Dylan Landay, originally from Pittsburgh, PA, joined Headcount fresh off a month-long stint in Africa working with vulnerable youth. After years of passion for volunteering and music, he become the new Music and Politics Intern. Working with music based non-profits is not a new thing for Dylan, and he is excited for this opportunity. In the past Dylan has paired with other non-profits, and has traveled the world with bands like Dispatch and State Radio promoting gender rights and legislation reform.
To call Dylan a music junkie may be an understatement. Music and social change were instilled in him at a very young age. Any chance he gets to go to a show or a service project, odds are he’ll be there. Along with Dylan's enthusiasm to help others he has worked at prominent music venues such as House of Blues Boston and Stage American Eagle in Pittsburgh for over five years.
