Cassie is the VP of Communications at Global Citizen. Cassie joined Global Citizen in 2016 to help grow the movement of Global Citizens through the creation of engaging articles, videos, and social media content. Since her arrival, she has helped grow page views to the site by 190% while overseeing a team of 14 content creators in the US, UK, Canada, and Germany. She also leads the organization’s strategic messaging initiatives.
Cassie has long been passionate about journalism and the role it plays in a healthy and thriving democracy. Prior to Global Citizen, Cassie led editorial teams at Yahoo News, Martha Stewart, and News Corporation. She started her career as a copy editor at the Dayton Daily News after graduating from Miami University of Ohio with a BA in Journalism. She lives in Westchester County with her husband and son.
