Carl grew up in Rhode Island and spent time in Upstate NY (St. Lawrence and Clarkson University), Boston and Northwest New Jersey before settling with his family in Orange County, California. Once his kids headed off to college, he knew HeadCount was a terrific way to get back to live music and support a great cause. His first show was Music Tastes Good in Long Beach, CA, in 2017 and he never looked back. His favorite band is the Grateful Dead and branches off into Jam Bands and Jazz. He loves how HeadCount bring opportunities to discover a plethora of new bands, genres and other opportunities to bring voter registration and actions to all.
