Brita Romans

Brita first learned about HeadCount while updating their voter registration status at a music festival in Ohio after just having moved across the country. After eventually moving back to California's capitol of Sacramento where she is based now, Brita started volunteering with HeadCount. Brita's first volunteer experience was a three-day camping festival in Northern California, and after 72 hours of breathing nothing but mountain air, listening to amazing music, and registering voters, Brita knew they wanted to be more involved with the organization. Brita loves to connect and engage with community members at HeadCount events, and get folks more engaged in their local governments by voter activation. Their all-time favorite artist to see live is ODESZA, and Brita lives for house, techno, hyperpop, escape room, shoegaze, and folk music.
