Andy Berger

Andy Berger fell in love with the Grateful Dead in 1985 after having a taped copy of “American Beauty” laid on him by a friend (Run-DMC’s “King of Rock” was on the other side).  This spawned a lifetime love of live music that would take him to 80+ Dead shows, many musical directions and all over the country. He particularly enjoyed the three years he spent in New Orleans soaking up that city’s unique music scene.  Andy was inspired to work with HeadCount after seeing Bob Weir address survivors of the Parkland, Florida school shooting. Soon after, he had his first HeadCount experience at the March for Our Lives event in Milwaukee. The combination of giving democracy a helping hand while catching some great bands was irresistible.  He officially joined HeadCount as a Team Leader in April 2018.

Born in New York City and raised in San Diego, Andy has settled down in Milwaukee with his wife, two boys, and three dogs.  Andy has a BA in History and Political Science from UCLA and a JD from Tulane University. He currently works for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
