On March 24th, HeadCount board member, Bob Weir, welcomed members of The National and some all-star Brooklyn-based musicians to his TRI Studios. It was far more than a jam session. It was an evening of sublime musicianship and inspired performance. One attendee described it as "the underlying Americana roots of The Grateful Dead, heard through an Indy Rock lens."
It also featured some set break conversation with Weir, John Perry Barlow, former Republican Presidential candidate Buddy Roemer, and some HeadCount volunteers.
Here, for your viewing pleasure, are four individual song performances, plus the entire performance, and two clips from the set break. If you are looking for a full evening of amazing entertainment, we recommend hooking your computer up to a flat screen TV and watching the entire show unfold.
