Rachel Knopp

After seeing HeadCount at various music festivals along the east coast Rachel jumped into the DC HeadCount family. HeadCount soon became a way to combine her politically charged school life (just 5 blocks away from the White House) with the enormous energy of DC's music scene. During her time at school, she also began tutoring inmates at a local women's prison where she developed a passion for criminal justice and prison reform. With this experience, political empowerment became especially relevant to her goals. She now works for the Women’s Prison Association as a Development Associate.
