Washington will hold its 2026 primary elections on August 4. The general election will be held on November 3.

Primary Election Dates

All primary elections in Washington are "Top-Two" elections. All candidates appear on the same ballot, and the two candidates who receive the most votes in the primary, regardless of party, move forward to the general election.
