Primary Election Dates
All primary elections in New Jersey are closed. Only voters affiliated with a specific party may vote in that party's primary. Unaffiliated voters may declare a party affiliation at the polls for a primary election - this affiliation will continue for future elections.
Current New Jersey voters must affiliate with a party by April 8th, 2026, the 55th day before the primary, in order to vote in the election.
