Election Day is November 3rd. Voters must register by October 5th. Absentee ballot requests must be received by October 31st.
In the spring Ohio held its primary by-mail due to COVID-19. We will keep you up to date on if they make this change for the general election.
Some congressional seats, state offices and constitutional amendments may be included on the ballot.
Early Voting Dates: October 3rd to November 2nd
You can vote in person at your county election’s office from October 3rd to November 2nd at 2:00 p.m. before the election. No excuse required.
To vote absentee by-mail, first you’ll need to apply for an absentee ballot (click here) no later than October 31st at noon. Then, when you complete your absentee ballot, it must be received by 7:30 pm on Election Day.
The absentee ballot application period opens Jan.1st for general election cycles, and 90 days before for other elections. You must submit an application for an absentee ballot by-mail for each election.
