Primary/Caucus Info — Hawaii
The Hawaii Republican Party will hold a caucus election from 6 pm to 8 pm on On 3/8/2016. The Hawaii Democratic Party will hold a Presidential Preference Poll on 3/26/2016. Both parties require affiliation to vote in their caucus, but will allow you to affiliate at the caucus. Please see party sites for details, including locations as they will differ from your polling place.

What forms of ID are acceptable?
In order to vote, voters may be asked to present valid photo ID with a signature. Additionally, voters will be asked to sign a poll book to record that they voted at the polling place. Voter Registration Notice is NOT an acceptable form of identification.See ID Requirements for All States
Early & Absentee Voting — HawaiiRequest an Absentee Ballot
Early Voting Dates: Oct. 25th to Nov. 5th
You can vote in person at designated locations from Oct. 25th to Nov. 5th before the election. No excuse required. You may also register to vote during early voting.
To vote absentee by mail, first you’ll need to apply for an absentee ballot (click here) no later than Nov. 1st. Then, when you complete your absentee ballot, it must be postmarked by the day before the election.
