What forms of ID are acceptable?
- Driver’s license
- Photo identification card
- Concealed handgun carry license
- U.S. passport
- State or federal government employee identification
- U.S. military identification
- I.D. card from an accredited post-secondary institution in Arkansas
- Public assistance I.D. card
For more information on how to obtain a free photo I.D., click here. If you do not have ID, you may cast a provisional ballot. The provisional ballot will be counted if the voter returns to the county clerk or county election commission by noon the Monday after the election with either proof of identity or an affidavit swearing the voter has no photo I.D. because of indigence or a religious objection to being photographed. Early & Absentee Voting — ArkansasRequest an Absentee Ballot
Early Voting Dates: May 7th to May 19th
You can vote in person at locations designated by your county from May 7th to May 19th before the election. No excuse required.
To vote absentee by mail, first you’ll need to apply for an absentee ballot (click here) no later than May 15th. Then, when you complete your absentee ballot, it must be received by 7:30 pm on election day.
