VOTE FROM HOME

Vote safely in 2020.

COVID-19 is changing everything across the world. Your voice is more important than ever. HeadCount is here to help! Opportunities to vote by mail vary by state.

How can I vote safely during COVID-19?

The Facts

  • No-excuse absentee voting is already the norm. Expanding it should not be controversial. This is already the law in 35 states + DC.
  • This has never been a partisan issue, and does not create a partisan advantage. A county-by-county study in California, Utah and Washington from the time the states started implementing vote-by-mail through the 2018 election shows no partisan advantage between pre and post vote-by-mail roll out.
  • Voting by mail does not lead to fraud. Out of approximately 250 million of votes cast in the last 20 years, there were less than 150 instances of documented alleged voter fraud tied to mail-in ballots.
  • No one knows what the status of the virus will be in November, so we need to be prepared to vote fully by mail if needed. Five states, including Utah, had already moved to full vote-by-mail systems well before the pandemic, so there is an existing model to work off of.
