The League of Young Voters dropped this video today in which The Doggfather himself reminds folks to get to the polls this Tuesday and expresses support for California's Prop 19, which would legalize marijuana in the state.
Supporters of Prop 19 claim that benefits of the initiative would raise money for the state of California while de-funding violent drug cartels. Opponents feel that passage of this proposition could have unintended negative consequences on public safety and in the workplace.
Other musicians known to support Prop19 include Willie Nelson, Sting, Slightly Stoopid and Melissa Etheridge. A quick Google search for "musicians who oppose Prop 19" produced nothing of note.
