Mississippi voters may register to vote for the Nov. 3rd general election by-mail or online through Oct. 5th. To vote by-mail, voters must request an absentee ballot and provide an excuse.
Some congressional seats, state offices and constitutional amendments may be included on the ballot.
Early Voting Dates: Aug. 21st to Oct. 31st
You can vote in-person at your clerk’s office before the election using an absentee ballot. Start dates vary by county; all early voting ends on Oct. 31st at noon. Excuse required.
To vote absentee by mail, first you’ll need to apply for an absentee ballot (click here) by Oct. 26th at 5 p.m. Then, when you complete your absentee ballot, it must be received by Nov. 2nd.
Absentee ballot by-mail requests open 45 days before each election. Applicants must apply for each election, excuse required.
