Due to COVID-19, Delware has moved its primary election to July 7th. All registered voters will receive an absentee ballot application in the mail. The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot if July 6th at noon.
Only registered voters affiliated with a particular party may vote in its primary. Existing in-state voters must declare their party affiliation by May 8th. New voters may register through June 13th.

Some congressional seats, state offices and constitutional amendments may be included on the ballot.
Early Voting Dates: County-Specific
Due to COVID-19, all regsitered voters will receive an application for an absentee ballot July 7th presidential primary. The state is extending absentee voting excuse qualifications to all voters to protect public health.
Alternatively, you can vote in-person at your county’s Department of Elections using an absentee ballot. Hours will vary by county, click here for specific dates and times.
The vote-by-mail application period opens Jan. 1st. You may request to receive ballots by mail for most elections during the calendar year. School board and related elections are not covered by this application. You’ll need to give an excuse to vote by-mail with an absentee ballot. Info here on what qualifies.
