Was That A Cardboard Cup in Hillary’s Campaign Video?

If you googled ‘Climate Change’ on Monday afternoon, like I did, the first article that popped up had a headline reading: “This Is The Most Important Tweet About Hillary’s Announcement And Everyone Pretty Much Ignored It”

That tweet by John Podesta, the chairman of Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, is important because it articulates the campaign's dedication to the enviornmant that even Al Gore, who won the Nobel Prize for his dealings with Climate Change, did not specify as a key issue in his run for president back in 2000. This, as the headline stated, is important.

Clearly Hillary Clinton cares about the environment, which I think is great because as anyone who has ever spent an afternoon on a picnic blanket in a grassy field on the first day of spring, the environment is more than great, it’s truly unparalleled by any office space, no matter how grand.

So Hillary—please switch to Klean Kanteen or some sort of reusable coffee cup. I’m sure that running for president is a tiring and stressful business and I’m bet that if you could hook yourself  up to a coffee IV, you would. But you’re stuck with cups (and lots of them at that)—and if each one that you use is disposable (like the one you’re drinking from in your campaign video) well that’s a lot of unnecessary paper use.

If all of your money is tied up in the campaign, I'll buy one for you. My name is Bridgid Tatlow and you can get my contact info through HeadCount. Let me know if this is something you’d be interested in and I’ll pop it in the mail right away. Best of luck on the road to 2016.
