Yesterday Steve Jobs announced that Apple would be making a huge announcement today. This morning we found out that the announcement would be......The Beatles! Since the late 70's Apple (Mac) and Apple (The Beatles' record company) have been suing one another over rights to said name. So until now, you couldn't purchase The Beatles' music anywhere online, at least not legally. This exciting announcement seems like a bit of a dud since most of the people who listen to their music digitally, don't pay for it and as you can see, it's readily available for free. I guess it's good news for all those audiophiles who own Sgt. Peppers on Vinyl, 8-track, Cassette and CD because now they can pay $12.99 for the classic album and not even physically hold it.
