We’re excited to announce Don’t Tell Me This Country Ain’t Got No Heart: A Benefit For Voter Participation featuring Phil Lesh at the legendary Apollo Theater with very special guests including The Harlem Gospel Choir.
We are seeing history unfold around us every day, and this concert will be a unique part of that history. Please join us in New York on Friday, September 7th for a night to remember.
Produced by our Board member Peter Shapiro, this event will help raise funds to support our voter registration work in New York and nationally. Additionally we will be running a weekly voter registration drive at the Apollo’s famed Amateur Night for the next six weeks.
The full list of friends includes The Harlem Gospel Choir, Terrapin Family Band, Nicki Bluhm, Eric Krasno, Talib Kweli and Robert Randolph.
We are honored that Phil Lesh and these amazing artists have chosen voter participation as the cause they want to support.
