Born and raised in San Antonio, TX, Venus has made serving her community a part of her everyday lifestyle. Venus is currently a Junior at St. Mary’s University where she studies Interdisciplinary Education with a focus in reading and also serves as a site facilitator with the Boys and Girls Club of San Antonio. Venus has volunteered with USLA soccer organization, San Antonio Food Bank, and with various schools in SAISD and HISD.
Venus’ passion for Democracy began at an early age as her mom would take her out to the polls, and encourage her to one day run for office. She has a passion for teaching the youth the importance of going out and voting and hopes to help make a voter impact in San Antonio, her motto: Su Voto Es Su Voz, Your Vote is your Voice.
