Tom first got involved with HeadCount in 2016, wearing many hats within the organization since that time. He has been a Team Leader in both St. Louis, Missouri and Louisville, Kentucky, gone on the road with Dead & Company, Pod Save America, and the March for our Lives Road to Change, helped train new Team Leaders, and assisted in HeadCount's 2020 Text out the Vote efforts. He is incredibly excited, as of January 2022, to be focusing his efforts with HeadCount towards voter engagement. In addition to his work with HeadCount, Tom spent two years teaching at the elementary school level, has received a B.S. in Economics from Saint Louis University and an M.A. in Education from the University of Notre Dame, and has conducted extensive research in both the Grateful Dead Archives and Woody Guthrie Archives. He prides himself on loving any and all music, but has a special place in his heart for his all-time favorites; The National, Charli XCX, The 1975, and Tyler, the Creator.
