Tessa Mitterhoff

Tessa Mitterhoff is a Northeast native who moved to Austin, TX in the summer of 2018 to escape the cold and work in nonprofit administration. That very summer she became a Volunteer Deputy Registrar, and helped register voters all over Travis County leading up to the 2018 midterm election. She discovered how much she loved being directly involved in the electoral process and meeting new and interesting folks! She then volunteered at Austin City Limits with HeadCount, had a blast (not to mention seeing Sir Paul McCartney in the flesh), and decided to become a Team Leader.
Her music taste ranges from Vulfpeck to Beyonce to the Punch Brothers to show-tunes, and is always open to discovering new tunes. In her free time, Tessa loves to read, do yoga, play guitar, and enjoy the beautiful nature that Texas has to offer. She is extremely passionate about voting rights, intersectional feminism, and breakfast tacos.
