61370Taylor Newman was born and bred in hilly Tallahassee, FL. She stayed in her hometown for college and graduated from Florida State University (Go Noles!) with a degree in dietetics. She saved up to spend the year after graduation saying yes to whatever came her way, including backpacking Europe with her sister, being an au pair in England, and interning at the White House. She’s now a Foods and Nutrition graduate student and Dietetic Intern at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA, where she continues to be politically active. Taylor hopes to work in the realm of food policy after graduation.
Outside of school, she likes to travel near and far, listen to live music, eat delicious food, and hike challenging mountains. She joined HeadCount as a volunteer in 2016 and loves registering voters in Athens!
