Simran, one of Headcount's Music and Politics interns this fall, is a recent graduate from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in international Relations and Politics.
Originally from New Jersey, Simran first discovered her passion for live music by attending shows at a range of New York City venues in middle and high school. She spent the next four years booking and running concerts for her campus and a promotion company in Pittsburgh. Simran also focused on domestic politics in her coursework and throughout internships in NYC and DC. She believes that Headcount is the perfect intersection of her two passions and a fantastic way to actively bring about positive change in our country.
