Shayla Gordon is a Cleveland, OH native currently living in NYC (Harlem!). Formerly a stage actor and singer, she currently spends her time working in Public Policy for a San Francisco-based tech company and lamenting her (temporary) exit from the stage. As an avid consumer of the arts, she spends a lot of time at museums, art shows, theaters, and music venues both at home and while traveling.
One hot day in June of 2016 while waiting anxiously to see Arcade Fire she stumbled upon the HeadCount table and found a perfect marriage of going to shows and civic engagement. She's ready to get people excited about voting and being involved in local elections!
