Natascha Weir

Born and raised in Minnesota, Natascha Weir is an enthusiast and advocate of many worthy causes. She is an active member of the Furthur Foundation Board, promoting various community initiatives. A passionate women's rights activist, a supporter of animal rights and veganism, and an advocate for HeadCount and voting rights, Natascha dedicates her efforts to making a positive impact. She worked as an inner-city and private elementary school teacher and received her education degree from Macalester College in Saint Paul. As a young teacher, Natascha was politically active and managed to get both the governor and a senator of Minnesota to visit her school on two separate occasions. She successfully dedicated her school as a World Citizen Peace Site, despite others thinking it was too much work and an unattainable goal. Her efforts were recognized, and the events were filmed and featured in the newspaper, showcasing her determination and dedication. In 2021, Natascha designed a T-shirt for Dead & Company emblazoned with a women’s rights/fight-the-power Stealie on the front and “Save Our Rights” on the back, with proceeds going to women's rights charities. She also designed a T-shirt for LGBTQ rights, with the proceeds donated to relevant charities.

As a nature lover, Natascha enjoys spending her free time appreciating and preserving the natural environment. She has been married to Bobby Weir for almost 25 years, and they have two wonderful daughters, Monet and Chloe.
