Morgan Howard volunteered for her first HeadCount in 2016 shortly after moving to NYC. She got selected for Roots Picnic by a miraculous series of events (including a basement flooding, many last-minute cancellations, and a little dash of fate) and it quickly led to a further commitment; she officially became a Team Leader a few weeks later because she couldn’t imagine her life without this organization. As of 2024 she is now the Senior Artist Relations Manager leading an incredible AR team and managing our many talent partnerships across the industry. She spends the rest of her free time writing music and singing her heart out. You can catch her performing as "Ecco" in @tinygirlbigshow at Renaissance Faires across the country. Morgan graduated in 2013 from Western Kentucky University with a BFA in Musical Theatre and grew up in The Music City of the South—-Memphis, TN. She resonates deeply with the Ray Charles quote, “I was born with music inside me. Music was one of my parts. Like my ribs, my kidneys, my liver, my heart. Like my blood. It was a force already within me when I arrived on the scene. It was a necessity for me - like food or water.
