Morgan Howard - HeadCount

Morgan Howard volunteered for her first HeadCount show shortly after moving to New York City following a 5-year stint working as a performer throughout Colorado and Tennessee. She got to be a volunteer for a whole weekend by a miraculous series of events (including a basement flooding, last-minute cancellations, and a little dash of fate) and it quickly led to a further commitment; she officially became a Team Leader because she couldn’t imagine her life without this organization! AND as of 2020 she is now an Artist Relations Manager with the team and couldn’t be more excited to bring her passions all together full-time, all the time!! She spends the rest of her “spare time” writing music and singing her heart out whenever someone will listen. She plays ukulele, piano, and a bit of guitar. Morgan graduated in 2013 from Western Kentucky University with a BFA in Musical Theatre and hails from The Music City of the South—-Memphis, TN. She resonates deeply with the Ray Charles quote, “I was born with music inside me. Music was one of my parts. Like my ribs, my kidneys, my liver, my heart. Like my blood. It was a force already within me when I arrived on the scene. It was a necessity for me-like food or water.”
