Maria Abad Barzola

Maria Abad Barzola lives in Miami, FL and goes to Florida International University, where she also works as a tutor for student athletes. She found out about HeadCount through her roommate Gabriela Dominguez, who had volunteered before. Even though Maria’s music taste is diverse, her favorite artists are: Ariana Grande, Tove Lo, and Maluma. Besides volunteering, Maria loves cooking, taking care of her dogs, and planning spontaneous trips. Maria’s also volunteered in the Galapagos islands, where she worked in a forest-conservation project.
