Lia Opperman is a sophomore at Princeton University majoring in the School of Public and International Affairs with certificates in Journalism and Cognitive Science. On campus, she spends her time writing an editing for The Daily Princetonian, researching for Princeton’s politics department, and promoting civic engagement on campus with Vote100. Her favorite musical artists are Fiona Apple, Clairo, Taylor Swift, Fleetwood Mac, Mitski, and Steve Lacy, and she enjoys making niche Spotify playlists and attending concerts in her free time! Lia’s passions surround music and voter-advocacy, so she is excited to explore the intersection of that with HeadCount! She is excited to increase voter participation, especially nearing the 2022 Midterms.
