Uniting grassroots music with grassroots movement has been Lenny's greatest passion for his whole adult life. While setting up booths for the world hunger organization Stop Hunger Now on tours with String Cheese Incident and the Dead in 2004 Lenny grabbed a clipboard and began registering voters with HeadCount, making Lenny one of HeadCount's longest tenured volunteers. Now he serves as a team leader for HeadCount in Richmond, Virginia, and helps run Participation Row at his favorite festivals - Lock'n and Floydfest. When he's not dancing at concerts and registering voters Lenny enjoys making new friends, climbing mountains, paddling streams, and camping under the stars.
