Jordyn Pegues is a sophomore at Syracuse University where she is studying Recording and Entertainment Industries through the Bandier Program. Growing up in DC, Jordyn has always been exposed to and taken part in activism. She is truly passionate about uplifting people and is currently leading an organization at SU with the initiative of empowering women. Her love of music and the industry started at a very young age. Through performing and writing music she learned how impactful art is. Jordyn believes that art is one of the greatest forms of activism so the idea of merging music and democracy is amazing to her. She is thrilled to be apart of the HeadCount team this fall.
