Jake Schuenke

Jake Schuenke first learned about HeadCount while at a Red Rocks show. He had just moved to Denver and HeadCount helped him update his voter registration information in the parking lot before a show. A few weeks later, he decided to volunteer for a War on Drugs show and has been hooked ever since!

Jake has loved music his whole life – it fascinates him how it can transcend cultures and even languages. He also believes in the responsibility to be involved in the democratic process. After not being involved himself during the early years of his life, Jake wants to inspire others to do their part to improve our country.

He grew up in southern Illinois and lived in Chicago for several years after receiving a Software Engineering degree from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He moved to Colorado last year and is loving exploring everything it has to offer. While not jamming at concerts, he enjoys wake surfing, rock climbing and the occasional craft brew. Jake loves a variety of music, but some of his favorite artists include blink-182, Run the Jewels, Odesza, and GRiZ.
