Jackie Lopez is a veggie powered runner and HeadCount’s first Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator. She is a graduate of The George Washington University where she studied International Affairs, Sustainability, and the art of time management.
A first-generation Latina from East LA, Jackie knew from a young age that she wanted to join the non-profit sector because of the impact that organizations, like Minds Matter LA, had on her academic, professional, and academic development. She was drawn to HeadCount for its unique approach to empower music lovers of all walks of life to actively participate in democracy, and is passionate about the team's efforts to reach new communities.
In her free time Jackie loves to run, pet dogs, read dystopian novels, and listen to podcasts that explore the importance of intersectionality.
