Emilia Tineo is studying Music, Politics and Social Justice at St. John’s University. Being a first generation New Yorker with Dominican heritage comes with a whole package of multiculturalism. Loving everything from bachata to neo-soul Jazz and supporting local artists are all part of her love for the Bronx. HeadCount’s intersectional mission to empower music listeners through political participation is what drove her to become a fellow. She enjoys making Spotify playlists, watching the Netflix Marvel Series, and participating in community service opportunities all over New York and the world!
