Elise Granata

Elise Granata comes to HeadCount after seven years of leading communications for creative social impact organizations– from people-powered museums to body-positive punk gyms. Before HeadCount, she led communications and digital strategy at the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History (the MAH) in California, a museum that transformed into a platform for community arts, activism (and the occasional fire festival.) After the MAH, she built an independent communications strategy practice and consulted for homeless services, community arts councils, and food justice entrepreneurs. She grew up on the east coast and studied Arts Management at SUNY Purchase College. After going to shows and booking bands her entire life, Elise is excited to combine her love of art + activism at HeadCount.
