Daniel Jubelirer joined HeadCount in 2025 and is honored to serve as Communications Director. He leads messaging and communications strategy across platforms to inspire civic participation through music and culture.
He brings over a decade of experience at the intersection of communications, leadership development, movement building, and electoral strategy—most recently serving as Senior Communications Director at Movement Labs and Contest Every Race, where he ran national communications campaigns and supported progressive candidates across the country.
Daniel began his professional journey as a youth climate organizer and has since worked as a leadership coach, campaigner, and communications strategist advancing climate action, social justice, and democratic engagement. He believes in the power of social movements and storytelling to spark bold change—and in making that work fun, creative, and grounded in community.
Daniel plays mandolin and guitar, and some of his happiest memories are at music festivals with friends and family. To unwind, he loves to go to the ocean to surf or hike in the woods with his dog. He is based in Oakland, California.
