Born and raised in Ohio, Carly is a current student at Baldwin Wallace University, pursuing a BA in Arts Management & Entrepreneurship. She spent many of her teenage years engaging in online communities for top artists of the 2010s, and though she appreciated the comfort it brought her, she knew there was something more that could be done. Upon noticing a lack of representation for fans with disabilities, she began Disabled Music Fans Collective (DMFC), which has grown into a nonprofit with the goal of uplifting what it means to be disabled in a space where many are left behind. Through this work, as well as internships with several for-profit and non-profit organizations throughout the music industry, Carly hopes to improve the safety, equity and accessibility of the music business for generations to come. She anticipates that her time with HeadCount will teach her many things about empowering artists to speak up, and encouraging fans to follow suit.
