Becky O’Connor recently moved to Detroit and wasted no time getting involved with HeadCount in the Motor City. She has been volunteering with HeadCount since 2019, and loves that the organization infuses a healthy dose of fun into civic engagement. Becky typically listens to indie pop and hip hop music, but her favorite HeadCount events are shows like Harry Styles and Ariana Grande because of the infectious energy of first time voters. She also enjoys sporting events (Go Bills!) and spending time with her husband (also a HeadCount Team Leader), their son Ian, and dog Prater.
